Dinka

Dinka is an Automotive manufacturer in Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, Chinatown Wars, V and Online. It is based on Honda, although it produces some vehicles that look nothing like a Honda.

Name Interpretations

Dinka means/is following:

• the name of a tribe in South Sudan
• a wordplay on "dink", a racist term for Asians
• a play on Dinky Toys, a British die-cast toy car maker, the term was later used for small, cheaply built cars, as Japanese car manufacturers exported such cars to North America during 1970s
• a Croatian female name derived from the Arabic name Dina meaning "obedience" and "long-lasting rain". The latter could be a reference to Honda's large motorcycles having performance and reliability issues when ridden relatively long distances on the US highways.
