The Banshee is a sports car appearing in every title since Grand Theft Auto III.

Name Interpretations
- Since it's based on a Corvette in Vice City and Vice City Stories, the name chosen for those renditions may be a reference to a series of concept cars called Pontiac Banshee, of which the first variations were direct competitors to the C3 Corvette, or at least inspired by, and of which the IV version is probably inspired by the Corvette Indy from 1986, the year Vice City is set in.
